I never watched Dallas but a whole season was ruled out as just a dream by a dead bloke reappearing in a shower.

Well 2016 is more of a nightmare than a dream but with Pardew gone in the New Year perhaps we can put 2016 down to a bad dream and work with the new manager on Premiership survival.

I agree with raw.

That was a battling performance against a team of megastars.

A 2-1 defeat is no disgrace against such strong opponents.

I give Pardew credit for that - and I am pleased that Dougie thought the same in his post- match comments.

Also, great bit of skill by Damo for our goal.

I think most people do give AP credit for that, but then they also give Pardew credit for the complete funk up substitution five minutes from the end.

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.

Absolutely correct.

Are some people so blind they can't see. That ref was s***e to both sides.

Pardew decided that game.

..allowing that goal just before half time was far more advantageous to them than anything the officials did to fix it for us.

I'm a Pardew lover but you can't blame the ref tonight. Their first was offside but they also had a clear handball penalty and a good goal ruled offside.l shortly after. The Rojo tackle was rash but never a red. On referees decisions it was 2-1 in favour of Palace tonight. We didn't make it count.

..the penalty from the hand ball might have been missed or saved and you cannot then count the disallowed goal because it wouldn't have happened seeing as that incident happened immediately after the hand ball, how can you know what could have happened if Zaha hadn't been two footed to the ground? (instant red with the new rules) seeing he was running at their goal with the confidence of having just bashed one in against Hull, moan.u down to ten would have forced them to reorganise their plans completely for well over an hour!

Sadly the officials fucked us again, lets see what they do to us against Chelsea...I cannot wait.

Trouble is the bloke doesn't seem to promote any good luck the fortunes could change with somebody else. Didn't really expect anything from the game the likes of Man U Liverpool etc a point would be a bonus in previous games would have happened shored up & got that. Just don't seem to be able to find any sort of form even with the lesser teams seem to struggle. It's a mess not sure it will improve under this manager seems to be hellbent on repeating the same mistakes & using every excuse under the sun to justify this.

Napoleon famously said that he'd rather have a lucky General than a good General so if we are suffering from all this bad luck under our unlucky manager it might be time to change him for someone luckier

Team selection looked odd. But, Lee was good as was Flamini.

Then, the ref (who was terrible) should have both ruled out their opener and sent off their man for the bad challenge. This changes the entire game.

We scored a great goal, generally looked solid and deserved the 1-1 based on the above.

I will acknowledge that a)we should have cut out zlatan for the winner (who along with the overated pogba was bang average) and b)the MCcarthur sub (best player on the pitch by some way imo) made no sense

But, will the haters acknowledge any merits or positive moves on Pardews part?

There were positives and negatives.

There was no "bad luck".... one team wanted to win and the other wanted a draw. In the end the team that deserved to win did,
