Agree about Flamini. JM sub made no difference to the goal. Look a bit deeper and what defensive options do we have on the bench? We have so many injuries to key players and a paper thin squad. Not defending Pardew, but he can't turn water into wine. JM had a knock last game, assume he was attempting to preserve him, seeing as he is easily our best player at the moment. No quality or viable options on the bench = Campbell and Fryers. We reckon he was being greedy and trying to get the win. Miss out the midfield and jump it up to Benteke and Campbell. Making the change disrupted the flow, dumb thing to do. Should have sat on the draw. And Flamini worked well with Cabaye, did pretty well. So did Ledley when he came on.

Nobody complained when he brought Campbell on last Saturday and he got the equaliser.

Flamini was excellent. Subbing him was idiotic. He improved Cabaye's game immeasurably, silly sub. Lee worked his bollocks off, the Macarthur sub was f***ing stupid. Was indeed decent but not match fit and Lesley did well until the last 10. Flamini was barking orders and getting us going but there's no way he would have lasted longer than 60 mins max. Again, JM sun made no difference to the goal.

The team is clearly lacking direction. I sadly it looks like pardew is randomly clutching at straws. he doesn't seem to have a proper plan. Chucking Campbell on for MacArthur with 5 mins to go? Why? Did he think we were going to steal it? A bit like the point at hull?

If Campbell had of scored in the last 2mins like Saturday, Pardews substitutions would have been fantastic. See, it's all fine lines. We are just having s***e luck with everything at the moment. Including bloody refs!!!! I posted this same time as Painter, so sorry if repeat of point raised. Edited by Flightsequence (14 Dec 2016 10.44pm)

Nobody complained when he brought Campbell on last Saturday and he got the equaliser. That was quite different. We were playing Hull and we were getting the ball up to the strikers reasonably well. Tonight we had no prospector servicing our strikers in the last ten minutes and it was all hands to the pumps at the back. You do not swap a top class midfielder for a second string striker in that situation. Oh, and we were losing against Hull so had no point to throw away. Tonight it was 1 - 1.

But even if you're right, we are in such a vulnerable position both in the league and with our squad due to lack of depth and so many injuries to key players. All it does is serve to greatly exaggerate bad game decisions by the manager. Essentially with the players and the situation very decision he makes has to be on point, and that's just not possible. Well maybe if you're really s*** hot but he's about as good as we're going to get right now. I've changed my mind on allardyce. When the players stop playing for him then fine, boot him.

Surely his times got to be up after that. Cost us the game bringing off Macca. Awful awful tactician.

I agree with the Flamini comment, maybe, why not sub him at 60, not half time, but how many times do we concede a goal after a pointless sub? I' m sure it disturbs the team. Originally posted by SW19 CPFC
