Referees that make howlers like this should be demoted to lower leagues too. Why should lower league teams have to suffer s*** refs.

Absolute BS from Snodgrass. He's trying to make out like it was accident and something he didn't mean to do. f*** right off, he knew exactly what he was doing and I've never seen someone attempt to 'ride a tackle' by deliberately falling over before a tackle wasn't even made. He should be banned and made an example of so other players aren't tempted to gain reward for cheating like he has.

Absolutely disgusting. He is a cheat. Simple as that. Diving is the cancer of football and it will continue until the FA can grow a pair and start bringing in retrospective penalties. After this and Deli Ali last weekend, how many kids are playing on Sunday morning, after watching MOTD, thinking that it is acceptable and trying it themselves? For incidents as blatent as these, there should be a 3 match ban plus a deduction of 2 weeks wages. The FA need to stamp it out, what is preventing them?

If the dive it self was not embarrassing, he had a go at Forestieri in May before the playoffs for being a diver. I am surprised the media hadn't made more of that. Short memories I suppose. Edited by tshepp897 (11 Dec 2016 6.15pm)

I would agree but Dann wasn't booked for the foul he was booked for complaining to the ref so whether it was a foul is largely irrelevant in the eyes of the law.

Its easy to stamp out. For ever point earned from a dive deduct 2. So lose 2 points for a draw or 6 for a win. Managers and coaches would make sure their players don't dive. Never happen though. FA are a bunch of %&%$$&88!!2#'s

retrospective action doesn't help us though does it? We were robbed o 3 points. The only fair answer is video refs for penalty decisions.

Edited by tshepp897 (11 Dec 2016 6.15pm) Particularly this quote from him: "It’s a contact sport but you don’t want somebody cheating. It’s cheating the referee. The referee has a hard enough job as it is.”

And I suppose people are now going to applaud him for his honesty, when this should be piece of evidence #1 for the panel that gives him a retrospective ban. Honesty would require deliberately missing the penalty or at the very least admitting it to the referee. Cheeky c**t had a go at Wilf in the same match, after he made contact with him, and brought him down.

Absolutely, he also went over like he'd been brought down, and looked for the penalty. The only thing that was an accident was his assumption that Dann would make any contact. Plus, he got up, took the penalty and scored without a word to the referee etc.
