..no such thing in this league, have you not seen how tight it is with points, all the fans who are moaning this and that can moan from Bournemouth down to Sunderland at this very moment because every team inbetween can very easily go down this season, very silly to panic over us playing moan.u and arsenal, no reason why we can't win these two games. Have you not noticed how when we play anyone decent after beating who was it, Mboro or Sunderland away and a very sh1t Stoke, we drew 1 and lost the next 5? Or do you conveniently ignore what's right in front of you? We can only beat, or go in front of, before chucking the points away, the very sh1ttest in the league. We are going to be right in the sh1t, very very soon. But sentiment has got in the way of paying this one dimensional manager off. He was a sh1t player and he's no more than an impact manager. If he hadn't scored that goal or played for us he wouldn't be in the job and it is a complete farce that he is. If that was at home today he'd be crucified. Perhaps that's why he opened the game up like a game for 13 year olds. It was away from 20 odd thousand Palace fans sick of, or on the verge of being sick of him gambling with our league survival. Pay him off, and quick.

It was a thumbs up by Pardew to Parish and back from Parish. Wasn't the other way round and Parish could hardly blank him.

Well, it won't come as any surprise to you that I disagree. Our four fixtures are against 1st, 2nd, 6th and 7th in the table. Swansea, for example, play West Brom, Boro, West Ham and Bournemouth. There is no question that is a far easier run. The fact that during our difficult run all the sides around us play each other cranks the pressure on us up even further as in each of those games, at least one of our rivals will be guaranteed points. In terms of there being no reason why we can't beat United and Arsenal, we have won 6 games in 2016 and they have come against Norwich, Stoke (x2), Boro, Sunderland and Southampton. Our record against the 'big 6' reads Played 9, Won 0, Drawn 1, Lost 8, Scored 6, Conceded 22. Considering how many Swansea and Hull have put past us recently, the notion that we will suddenly turn that run of form around against the big dogs seems fanciful at best. We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |
