i just think its so easy to knock him because he came with a massive reputation, we all expected him to be playing further up the oitch pullig strings but i feel he does very well in the holding ball and usually moves the ball well aswell rarely losing posession, him & macca were brilliant when playing together last season and if they get that back then thats massive for us moving forward. he is just so tenacious in his work with that little sprinkle of quality that sets him above the others. its not his fault our form hasnt been great, and to use him as a scapegoat is just lazy

According to the Hull fan on the holradio preview pod this week, Hull only seem to go for a Nil Nil rather than playing an attacking game. I'd put Cabaye in as he distributes the ball better than Ledders. A better player for breaking down the opposition. Edited by nickgusset (10 Dec 2016 11.01am)

If that is in his mind he is not worth to be called a manager. I would play Cabaye anytime but see lots on here disagree. Originally posted by Willo
Can you imagine the furore if he makes changes and it all goes wrong ? Personally I would stick with the winning team but maybe niggling injuries might force his hand ? I think we will win comfortably, 3-1 or 4-1.

My Bruv would slap me for this but I would have Townsend in. It's not been happening for him lately but against Hull he could be a match-winner. So yes, I would seriously consider changing the starting XI. (Reaches for tin hat)
We move in the direction of our thoughts. |

Injuries aside I don't think that you should change a winning team. That said Cabaye is our best passer so if we're struggling to break them down bring him on

Except Townsend was quite poor again and Sako looked up for it down the left again when he came on. For the sake of balance might be a better fit than to shoehorn AT in

Earlier in the season Cabaye was left on the bench due to lack of form/team getting results, so I don't think it's fair to say he just walks into the team. Ledley had his first good game for us in a while against Saints so I would keep him in and have Cabaye on the bench. If Townsend fails to pull his finger out in the first half then I would swap him, perhaps even for the unusually trim looking Sako.
