Would have expected a bit more pressure on Al (1 win doesn't fix everything) but then the above suggest he wasn't ever really thinking about sacking him contrary to media reports.

On the one hand I worry about us sleep walking into relegation, on the other hand for years on this forum we've ridiculed owners at other clubs for getting rid of managers too early. Hard to criticise SP for doing the opposite, clearly wants AP here for the long term.

Which is what I basically said but got pilloried with all the "Purporting to be In the know" brickbats which I received.

This coming from someone who fervently believes that someone being "In the know" doesn't give him/her any special status on HOL or other such site.

However, what the presenters failed to pick up was the fact the vast majority of those wins were in his first 12m at the club.

As AP's influence has infested the team and squad more and more the results have got worse and worse.

Also not being fans there was no discussion prompted by the hosts about abject AP disasters like Yaya Sanogo, Patrick Bamford, Emmanuel Adebayor, Alex McCarthy, Jordon Mutch, Loic Remy, Steve Mandanda etc. etc.....
