Couldn't agree more. Love his passion.

P.S. Completely unrelated but I love how Rambo still shows so much love for Palace on Twitter

Now here's Wright, his first chance to see what he can do, and he's through, it's Wright, ohhhh what an impact by the substitute. And it's Ian Wright who's sent the Palace fans into ecstasy!

Damo was, is and always will be a legend.

Led by example today - brilliantly.

Would take nothing away from the rest of the team: they all put in a great shift, just that Damo was exceptional.

And to think I nearly didn't go today, after suffering the circus at Swansea - just proves: keep the faith!

That's just wrong...the worse it gets the more you should want to go.

Damo mom today. I'm not sure how much he supports AP, based on his demeanor on the bench last week and the post-match interview this week. But he's the best leader we have left.

Problem is that he's 35 (so says a 60 year old). He must be replaced at some point soon, but he must be kept in the team (Ledley too) for the time being. I'm afraid Cabaye hasn't warranted inclusion based on the past year's performances, he just isn't the player I thought we'd bought.

Rome wasn't built in a day, there's a few more ups and downs to come soon....

Simple game. Don't concede, be strong, make yourselves hard to beat, put square pegs in square holes and take advantage of any luck that comes your way.

The best thing today was seeing Hennessey lump the ball the length of pitch instead of farting around with silly roll outs and pointless risky passes in our third by players that aren't comfortable on the ball.

Today's change to the back four and "style" of play should have taken place weeks ago.

He was good today but he has been a liability at times this season.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

people have knocked Delaney and I get it, not the prettiest player to watch.

I am hoping now people realise what he brings to a team, leadership, heart, soul and fitness ...and the odd mistake.

He was the difference today and man of the match by a country mile.

Ledley was solid and did what was required ... cabaye back next week. I am hoping pardew swallows that massive ego and drops him .

Anyhow big up mr Damien Delaney .

Why, for the love of god why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Delaney likes playing against certain strikers, anyone that's going to be clever or relies on pace, he will struggle against. Today we channelled Southampton attack down the wings and we stayed quite deep so Delaney was quite happy for them to put in crosses which he can clear easily.

I think having both Dann and Delaney communicating and being given leadership responsibilities could be part of the solution.

I think a problem with him has been asking the defence to push up and press to win the ball quite high up the field. We're a lot better defending when the back 4 drop deep when the opposition start attacking. Delaney is a lot better at covering for Dann than Tomkins is at the moment and he puts his body on the line.

For me it's a no-brainer who starts in that left CB position now and IMO that player should also still be Captain.

Can't take us to the next level but FFS was he what was needed like when we needed a Jedinak to get to decent performances last season to get that trickle of points. It is no surprise that this happens.

I bet they all said to AP that Kelly does not want to play RB/isn't confident and must be replaced with Ward.

As was said on motd. We had to keep it basic.

The best thing about MoTD was Alan Shearer sitting there with his poe-face on looking pi$$ed off in peeved silence whilst they showed clip after clip of Benteke winning balls in the air in both boxes. Cat got your toungue, Alan?

It does amuse me when the so called , proper ' semi pro nearly great ' footballers come on here and slag off the likes of Delaney and Ledley , Ward and anyone who fights for the cause and then try and tell us Cabaye is great and if you don't think so you know nothing about football.

Delaney is Mr Palace.
