susmik PLYMOUTH -But Made in Old Coulsdon... 02 Dec 16 2.55pm | |
---|---|
I would think having Hamilton as his team mate had something to do with it. I think I would feel the same as Hamilton is like our Arrogant manager and does not like being told what to do...Like he disobeyed orders in the last race and I really hope he gets hammered when the team confront him shortly. Very bad sportsman even if he is British. (but talks like a yank!)
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

Show me a good loser, and i'll show you a loser.

Very bad sportsman even if he is British. (but talks like a yank!) British and the best/fastest driver in F1.. Mercedes made sure they got the German champion they wanted, Hamilton just did what any proper racing driver would have done, perfectly legitimate tactic of backing your rival into the pack, it was his only chance of winning the title thanks to Mercedes tinkering with his car/ mechanics over the season. Comfortable win in Malaysia denied by a "breakdown" whilst winning. Rosberg just can't live with Hamilton's speed and knew that would be the same next year so got out while he could, good riddance too!

Hamilton is an arrogant tw@t and always has been...he even sacked his manager (his Dad) because he cannot stand orders.....when in a team you go by orders or are saying our players do just as they like ????

Boo hoo It was NOTHING to do with letting Rosberg through to win or do you not know the full story. Hamilton was told to speed up instead of going slow to enable Vettel to catch up..get your facts right!

In F1 your manager isn't there to order you about, he's your employee. And he didn't sack him either.

He had a new engine in Malaysia. That he took grid penalties in Belgium for. You are embarrassing yourself with your total lack of knowledge.

As far as team orders are concerned, Hamilton was winning, didn't need to drive faster and by driving tactically, he could bring the Red Bulls and Ferraris back into it. That could have meant Rosberg in 4th and another world championship for LH. Like him or not, that's was the smart way to approach the race at that point. I guarantee that in the same position, NR would have done the same. The constructors championship was won and one of the Merc drivers was going to be crowned champ, so nothing was being risked from the team's perspective. And you cannot compare F1 and football for team orders. Yes, LH & NR are in a team and paid handsomely, they are driving for the team and the constructors championship but they are also driving for themselves. As for arrogance, all F1 drivers have it to one level or another. Will be interesting to see who Merc put in his place though . . .
