This thread is titled give Pards a break- IF AP carries on in the same vein much longer he will earn his own 'break'

He simply has to knit this team together so it defends as well as it attacks for the whole of each and every match.

Not the second half of this game or the first 20 mins of that game!

But even if we do win, or even win a few, we'll still always be wondering when the next headlong plunge down the table will be coming. Any success we do enjoy under Pardew will be built on quicksand.

All the time Pardew remains in charge, I become increasingly worried about our ability to remain in the Premiership this season, far more than I ever did last season during our calamitous run after last Christmas.
The sooner he is removed together with the equally incompetent Millen, the better,as it gives the new boss, hopefully Big Sam, maximum opportunity to arrest our catastrophe slide to the Championship.

Nobody has turned on Pardew, not yet.

Al of his defenders have gone silent. Not a lot left of hope to defend him.

And if you knew his thoughts and treatment of your hero in your moniker then you might not be defending Pardew so.

Ok Rudi spill the beans, it's about time this came out!

Bring back Brolin

Our team is struggling big time and we need to unite together and get behind AP and the boys. Easy to support them when their doing well but it's times like these that really count.

We will win on Saturday and Super Al will eventually guide us to Europe.

Only if he writes a song.

If we lose, will you still retain the relentlessly cheery optimism? Get real. We're up sh!t creek without a paddle and we will only get out of this if Pardew is sacked.

"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!"

This article says it all I am afraid:

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

I have always been a Pardew supporter, but time is of the essence now and we all know this is a critical phase. Timing is everything (as they say) - leave it and it could mean Championship football, or can this be rescued? Saints and then Hull, but followed quickly by Manure and Chelsea!

I know what I would do, but the big problem is that I can't stand Allardyce!

However. if Big Sam saved PALACE, I guess I would temper my views about him!
