lets be honest he looks like he's been to neil shipperleys slimming camp. im no slim jim, but then im not gk coach for a premiership side. we need a clean sweep of everyone on the coaching staff, and id even suggest a director of football too.

At this level, i highly doubt woodman is teaching keepers new tricks. More so pushing them in training, reminding them of angles, working on distribution and reading the game and commanding the area. Weight shouldn't be an issue. Ofcourse, it doesn't look the part, but Steve Bruce seems to be doing well.

Perhaps his pal, Gareth Southgate, will head-hunt him for the England set up. Without wishing to be too personal, his girth is not the best example when it comes to fitness and spring-heeled agility. At least Palace don't have to hire a Santa for the Christmas party.

My kids have only seen him twice, last March and this August, yet they haven taken the mick trying to wind me up about it relentlessly since. And I can't blame them. They are 8 and 12 Coaches aren't meant to be fat. Managers can be.

Personally I don't have anything against Woodman but surely he doesn't coach/encourage Hennessey to take a step in the wrong direction at every free kick.. he's done this so many times and we concede nearly every time.. I was at Swansea on Sat and as soon as the free kick was given I feared the worst and unfortunately was right.. the wall was lined up to protect the left side he stood on the right side about a metre from the post and as the kick was being taken he took a step to his left, was then flat footed and rooted to the spot.. if he'd stayed where he had been, and supposed to be, he may have saved the shot.. he's done this so many times, he's either been coached to do this or, if not, the coaching should have picked up on this and coached it out of him.. f**king useless..

The Best Manager England have had in recent living memory El-Tel wasn't exactly a waif, neither was Sir Alex, the most successful manager in premiership history. That is changing along with peoples general attitude and lifestyle choices. However, managers are not there to stand on the training pitch and coach the players, they are there to pick the side, develop how the side plays, and manage the infrastructure, their back room staff are the ones who carry out the will of the manager. There is no need for them to be marathon runners. However to be a coach you do need to be fit, who's going to have respect for a coach who gets out of breath ordering a fry up ? Any way I digress anything that AP has had a hand in, needs removing and that should include a fat bastad that has obvioulsy decreed that Wayne "skip to the left" Hennessey is better than Jules, and thats a f***in joke for a kick off.
