Pardew doesn't believe any of this is his fault and he thinks he's the perfect man for the job. He assigns blame to everyone else for whatever goes wrong and the idea of accepting personal accountability seems alien to him.

He won't go anywhere until the herbert from security escorts him off the premises and chucks him into the street.

reply above is bang on !

The decision to get rid of Pardew will hopefully be accelerated by the owners across the Atlantic. Needs to happen ASAP.

I think SP will have no choice but to remove AP.

It is harsh to say we are not entertaining 5-4 Swansea, 4-2 Liverpool, 3-2 Burnley. We are the fifth highest scoring team in the prem.very entertaining.

As a fan I just cannot deal with this. We cannot defend and therefore never look like winning. What is clear is that AP has no idea how to solve this and if confidence drops further we are going to get some real hammerings from Chelsea and Man U who follow Southampton at home.

Can anyone see a game we will win? Hull away? That is just not good enough.

Sadly (for us) this is spot on.

Managers very rarely leave and Pardew won't. As for sacking - I thought he'd be gone if we lost at Swansea, as I thought he should be. But the fact that he didn't get a post-match call saying 'don't speak to the media, we need a word' indicates he's at least got one more game... Maybe more.

He's far to arrogant to walk. That's part of his flaw

Everything said about Pardew so far is probably correct.

Surely, there can't be any doubt about him going? .... otherwise, the Grim Reaper of the Championship beckons and we'll be back to hosting crowds of 14,000 again.

There's no prestige for the owners or financial profit in that. Pardew has had long enough and he's failed miserably. They have to get rid of him ASAP!

..rubbish, I think he needs new blood and someone to remind the players of their jobs on the pitch, someone who is on it with them, Pardew is doing a good job, some of the players are doing an awful one.

Pardew is doing a good job?! Are you for real with that statement?

I think you will find that AP's tenure has already been discussed at length by Parish Harris & Blitzer and everyone knows exactly what is expected, where they stand and the timescales involved.

This is why we have heard nothing from Parish over 'We still have confidence in Alan etc' and the usual crap yet.

All we can do is fully support the players during matches as was shown yesterday at Swansea in an effort to get 3 points. He still has the players playing for him and there is absolutely no point in us publicly turning against Pardew or starting a 'Pardew out campaign'

I now feel he should step down, but doubt he will leave of his own volition. He and Parish seem to have a very close relationship though and it won't be easy for the chairman to let him go.

On the other hand, Steve Parish is a successful businessman and probably didn't get to where he is today by letting sentimentality cloud his judgement when making tough decisions. I'm sure he will do whatever is best for the club.

Agree,Parish is first and foremost a successful businessman who will act very soon in the best interests of the club ,board and US investors who must be wondering
what is going on,particularly after yesterday's result.
Time for a total clear out and time to bring in a new team, including the removal of Millen who has added nothing .

This would be ironic as the wheel would of turned full circle. Warnock went after a very poor performance against them at home. If so Pards reign will of been a period of huge highs and lows, the Cup Final probably as the crest with yesterday the trough. The successor needs to bring some stability to our performances as we need to grind out quite a few points before April as I see a Norwich scenario with our horrific run in.
