Strange enough when he took over temporarily from Holloway our defense (with Mariappa, Moxey and so on...) was the best part of the team, and what kept us up...
Maybe simply he's not the problem?

Cannot remember you giving him the credit when we were defending well. Manager picks the players not Millen. Kelly is rubbish at LB. Tompkins the jury is out but we are leaking goals for fun and Damo has proved himself. As for Wayne Hennessey absolute pony. Jules is better.

Both keepers are now damaged goods this season, so it might be time for Jules. At least his confidence will be up.

Well look at how well he got us defending after Holloway left. Just because we are defending poorly now does not mean it is solely his fault.

Did wonder if Steve is actually injured or trying to save himself the embarrassment. I wouldnt be in a rush to get fit if i was him.

Obviously Pardew is the man in the firing line, but I have wondered whether there is enough quality behind the scenes with our coaching team. It's not just Pardew who works with the team in training, although ultimately he has to take responsibility.

Keith Millen always comes across as a decent man - Palace through and through, and has stepped into the breach a couple of times when managers have departed. To date incoming managers have seen fit to keep him so he must have something going for him. Perhaps that is because he is always willing to tow the line - I don't know. Whatever, there doesn't appear to be anything happening on the training ground that is improving our defensive capabilities.

He is a busted flush, defensive coach after our recent displays, he has to go, as there is no defence now.

Get rid of Millen - awful when he was caretaker boss.

Re Speroni - dreadful pre-season at Fulham and in last game of last season at Southampton. Not the answer

Millen has been coach when the defence was solid with Jedinak and Delaney playing.

We are just not to know but its managers selections but he persists thinking it will come right at set pieces its not that difficult.

Looking at the squad apart from LB they have premier quality so what are his reasons I would not just sling him out there is a long way to go so SP we need to know his thinking.

You want him to succeed it looks bad for him.
