What Tosh. After watching Wilf week in week out there is no way i would have him in the England Squad. We get the odd bit of brillance but how many goals does he score? How many assists does he create?.How many times does he lose the ball or put in a cross that hits the first man? Would wager that most clubs think they have a player that should be playing for England. i agree with you to an extent, but this season wilf has been better IMHO than townsend/antonio/chamberlain and on that front deserves an oppotunity to show what he can do around better players in the england set up. hes started to cut out a few tricks and get a simple ball into the box, which was needed for him to move up to the next pevel as a player.

Maybe that's why he wasn't in the last squad; he'd already made it know to the England camp that he'd be choosing Ivory Coast? Just me speculating as there was no good reason to pick Lingard or Townsend over him. More likely his absence from that squad gave him the final push he needed to learn French.

Wilf has completed roughly a third of all his crosses this season. He has 5 assists this season, with 4 in his last 4 games. He has created the most chances from open play of any of our players this year. Comparing Wilf this season against similar players in the England squad: So Wilf has contributed to as many goals as Sterling, but more than anyone else. You clearly have no idea about football. But then again, if any of those other players played for Palace, I'm 99% sure you'd moan about them too.

Zaha should be playing for England, for him to be omitted from even the squad is pathetic. Clearly a talented player that England will lose.

I would say Wilf has played in the majority of our games the others you have listed have not. I am not saying Wilf is better or worse than any of the above players, Personally dont think he is good enough for England and thatas by watching him week in week out. The England management think the same but what do they know about football.

Zaha is the best winger England could select . Simple! sterling us awful , Walcott ain't much better abs lingard reminds me or cleverly ( wouldn't be any where near the squad if he wasn't at Man U ) I'd be fuming if u was wilf and tbh Ivory Coast are better than. England anyway

My argument is that he has played better than all those players other than Sterling this season, and so deserves a place in the squad. You're just saying 'I don't think he's good enough for England', without any justification. Minutes per goal or assist: Wilf is top when you take into account number of minutes played. If it was just based on form, he would be in the squad - no doubt

Have to agree with you on that one and for the people who think he is rubbish clearly need to watch more football. We know Wilf can have bad games as do most players but he has grown up a lot in the past year and needs his chance to play for England and let him show the powers to be what they have been missing.
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

If Wilf is really good enough for England then that lot are lacking. He wouldn't stand a chance against German, Spanish or Italian defenders. Not saying he shouldn't be picked more that England must be sh1te for him to be.

If anyone questions Zaha this season then I am quite frankly baffled. He has been MOTM in at least half of our games and appears to have matured. If he adds goals to his game then a big club will be in for him in the summer with an offer we won't be able to refuse. Personally he is the one player left who gets me excited during games now that Yala has left. Even at his best Andros just lacks that wow factor for me. England are making a big mistake in not picking him in my view. If, however, he genuinely wants to represent Ivory Coast over England then good luck to the lad. He has a lot more chance of winning a tournament with them.
