There has been talk of Coleman but he is tied to wales up to the 2018 World Cup and he isn't likely to just walk away from their campaign any time soon.

Will we still be saying this in April if we're still around the relegation zone, I'm not convinced. really it comes down to what your expectations for the season are? for a team that finished bottom 3rd of table and net spend pre-season was under 10m i dont expect any higher than 15th, especially since papa f***ed his leg up. despite our recent form i still have absolutly no worries about us getting relegated, we have the squad still to finish above the drop zone. pardew is building a decent team here, infact probably the best we have ever seen in the clubs history, were on our longest stay in the top league (thanks to pardew keeping us up for 2 seasons on a small budget. i genuinally do not know what people expect, were not a top 6 side, were one of the premiership "mor" clubs that dont go doown but dont challenge for anything...its the best we can hope for unless somebody throws hundreds of millions at the squad. im sick and tired of all this pardew out bollocks, there isnt even a better option out there to replace him, its your classic bulls*** lets change the manager every 5 minutes mentaility that i hate about football nowadays. quick fix (?) over lets try and build something mentaility. luckily i think the board have more sense than most fans on here.

I'd prefer Pardew over Coleman. He's had one good run of form with Wales whilst having one of the best players in the world in his team. The rest of his managerial career is mediocre at best.

What about Gareth Southgate, the FA don't seem to be very keen to appoint him as England Manager?

To be honest the sun are printing what everyone is saying and what is obvious. The fact that this cannot continue. There comes a point where the plug has to be pulled or we could go down. I know we are not in the drop zone at the moment and we could win at Swansea and pick up other points but based on current form we could well find ourselves with problems and the longer it goes on it may be too late to reverse the situation. The other real danger if they do want allardyce is that another club sacks their manager and takes him on while we are sitting on.our hands waiting. I have a gut feeling he's got a bit longer left at palace yet. I speak for some who are probably silently hoping we do lose on Saturday so as not to prolong the agony and drag this out any longer than is necessary.

Agreed Braunie. We will then be in January facing The Arsenal on New Years Day. We stay up and create Crystal Palace History. PS remember we are little old Crystal Palace in the Top 20 of English Football.

The thing about this Palace side, is that we really do have the quality to take points from any side, especially since Benteke has arrived and given us something up front. I thought we deserved something against City and I actually think we are in the best shape since we got promoted. You have to give credit to Pardew for some of the players he has brought in. However, I think we'd do better with a manager who can get a side to defend well. I do think prior good runs have come down to having a better drilled squad more than having a better squad - and that comes down to management. I do like what AP is trying to do, I'd love to see us succeed playing attractive open football, but if we don't get results in the next few games we may be better off playing it safe and going back into our shell a little. I'd imagine patience is running low, poor start to the season continuing a poor year. Swansea, Southampton and Hull - All three are vital games and without at least four points, I think its game over for Pardew. Because we've really only got one 'feasible' winnable game in the following four (Watford, I'd be amazed if we get anything from Chelsea, Man Utd or Arsenal)

What I mean by "expect" is that I shall be disappointed iif that isn't the case because if it were we should have underachieved, considering our potential. Which is greater than it has been since 1991.
