The time for excuses has long since gone we need a left back and a proper midfielder and possibly a centre back then we might win again

Benteke was having a relatively ineffectual game and Chungy has a real motor for late on in games. Sako was a bit of a surprise, he actually did OK in his short time. The blindingly obvious issue is that Souare decided to play chicken on the motorway and we didn't have a back up. That's all. Not sure where we go from here, just have to wait until January as it's clear nobody believes in Fryers. Both goals can be put down to Kelly not having a right foot.

I know it's not popular but I didn't have a problem with the Benteke sub. After we equalised City targeted Kelly time and again and it seemed only a matter of time before they scored. He pushed Wickham up front, put Chungy in the hole and pushed Punch wide to give Kelly more protection than Wickham was giving him. Very sound and intended to keep hold of what we had. Let's be brutally honest if he hadn't and they'd scored, you'd all be on here saying why didn't he shut up shop as a point against City is a good result.

Think it's a left foot he ain't got....although his rights not that great.

Will surprise some but I agree, only it will be a manager we'll need if we don't get a win in 2/3 games.

I've rarely been so angry about an opposition goal. As noted above, it came from a carbon copy of their previous corner. I noticed Hennessey pointing half-heartedly - and far too late - to the untenanted near post, and then I saw Dann pointing to the same spot - but unfortunately after the ball had gone into the net. Very helpful. I'm also angry because I thought we played better than for some time and did superbly to get back into the game. We just keep shooting ourselves in the foot.
