Sam Allardyce - have the experience from PL and is actually better than some may think! A no-brainer really - call him up straight away before someone else comes in.

At the same time make sure Millen & Woodward leave. Nice, polite guys, but hardly anyone to put a sparkling back in the team, to inspire and fill us with a mean streak to stop the defensive leak...

I'm with Thai-Eagle, Fat sam for me. Loads of experience and knows how to get the best out of players especially the defence,
Invited to SP after Xmas 1969 by new stepfather and his best mate. Freezing cold and lost 5-1. Been a fan ever since!!!! |

One can speculate and offer suggestions until the "Cows come home" - fact remains that there is NO vacancy and won't be one for quite a while.Pardew will be given the backing through the January 'Transfer Window' and beyond.

We might as well close this thread now that Steve Parish's mouthpiece has spoken

I wouldn't be so sure. If we are in the bottom 3 after the next 3 games (which is quite posdible) I would be amazed, dissapointed and very worried if he doesn't go.

West Ham's next four fixtures : Spurs A Much more chance of them being in the relegation zone than us after the next four matches and a dodgy stadium move to justify as well. Edited by kennys boots 79 (08 Nov 2016 9.22am) What have West Ham got to do with our next manager choice? Lets just say West Ham lose their next 4 against top Premier League sides it will put their form on a par with ours now having lost our last four.

I have given thought to some managers currently not involved at club level in England : Louis Van Gaal, Dick Advocaat, Guus Hiddink, Chris Coleman, Steve Clarke, Nigel Adkins, Sam Allardyce, Glenn Hoddle, Roberto Di Matteo, Quique Sanchez Flores, Roy Hodgson, Roy Keane, Martin O'Neill, Martin Jol, Malky Mackay, Roberto Martinez, Avram Grant, Gianfranco Zola, Alex McLeish, Stuart Pearce, Nigel Pearson, Gary Neville, Manuel Pellegrini, Gus Poyet,Harry Redknapp, Tim Sherwood, Gordon Strachan, Mark Warburton, Brendan Rodgers etc etc etc. Some of the above are involved at International level so not "Available" but I thought I would maybe "Wet the appetite" of those calling for a change ! My concern from sacking him is the new man could relegate us. Well if AP is going to then we may as well, and I highly doubt Fat Sam would relegate us anyway. AP failing early might be a blessing. We get him or another in early before the other December sacking teams do, as Sunderland did.

Because the post above mine was saying there is a good chance of us being in the relegation zone after the next three games and that would be good enough reason to sack Pardew. And West Ham actually came 7th last year. Edited by kennys boots 79 (08 Nov 2016 9.54am)
