Although I think it takes a rather odd kind of person to do that sort of thing, it's understandable as they're our rivals. The Geordies' obsession with Pardew is just weird. I bet you the next club that hires Pardew will have its forums awash with them, screaming hysterically again. ..why, where is he going?

The comparison and replacement to Pardew was John Carver. As "Super Alan Pardew" rang out through Selhurst after a couple of good wins and "Stupid, deluded geordies - their loss is our gain" was used as the stick to beat Newcastle fans and mock us for daring to openly protest to force out the media darling who is nothing more than a fraud who would never have a job in the Premier League right now, had he not owed a ton of money to the ex-chairman of Newcastle United in casino debt. Do you see him being criticised by Sky/BBC, despite his absolutely appalling record in which even Newcastle have more Premier League points than you in 2016? No, he still gets away with it and after his classic 'few wins on the spin' he's lauded as a genius and touted for the England job. It's beyond belief, but of course we have to big up English managers despite their apparent s***ness. Anyway I had to laugh at his latest excuse for losing as obviously it's never down to his own personal failings, and his reason for losing was his teams willingness to try and ride the wave of momentum and overturn a 2 goal deficit into a valuable 3 points. Super Alan Pardew then accuses them of 'getting over excited', at least this time he didn't accuse the fans of being the reason for defeat, as he did when you held us to a 3-3 draw at St James' in the 14/15 season. [Link] After a 1-1 draw with Spurs Anyway, you can get the rest here. You might want to look into buying this domain yourselves. If you think you can't go down because of the players you have, Pardew only just avoided relegation by the skin of his teeth with Newcastle with Coloccini, Cabaye, Tiote, Cisse, Ba & Ben Arfa playing at the peak of their abilities, so if you keep him long enough you don't have a chance. It works well for me as I have money riding on it. Anyway, enjoy the 'transition period'. Or whatever the next li(n)e is. ..what a way to waste money and your time on here.

A friendly word of advice to the OP: try opening your bedroom door, you'll find something out there called 'a life'. It may be scary but you never know, you might enjoy it.

Well said GeordieNUFC, I'm not sure I agree with you, but you are entitled to say what you like and you obviously care passionately about football. Surely though, there's a difference between Mike Ashley and Steve Parish (your chairman and ours) Pardew does seem to inspire loyalty in his players. And Joey Barton rates him quite highly. (I've just finished bis book) The thing I've never understood was the obsession about this mythical 'cockney mafia' that the Geordies were always on about? I'm not aware of there being a Geezer Nostra.

I was happy when Pards came, local bloke, knew the club and it 'appeared' at Newcastle he was being held back by the chairman which in turn soured relationships with the home support. There was also a whiff of the geordies not liking him simply due to him being from down south - true or not, i have no idea, but it felt that way. So it's easy to feel slightly sorry for him. Either way, nufc need to move on from pardew, stop coming here in peace, nothing new will be said or bought to the table. He didn't work out at nufc, for whatever reason and it isn't working out here too, but the two spells aren't similar.

Its always easy to blame the symptom rather than the cause. Never known Newcastle fans not turn on their managers.

Walked out of college tonight and one of the guys I work with is the usual deluded Geordie fan. Shouts across the foyer "told you Pardew was going to drag you down". I wish these sad twonks could just feck off and worry about the championship. After all its all they are fit for, would love them to trip up and lose automatic promotion on the last day then get beaten in the final of the play offs. Then us grabbing Rafa.

Alan Pardew helped us to a top 10 finish in the league in his first season and an FA Cup final last term. I know things are going a bit sour now, but all things considered I don't think that's bad going at all. He may be approaching the end of his tenure with us, as most managers do before too long, but I for one was happy for him to join and if he does happen to go I will look back on his spell at Palace and see the glass half full. But enough about Pardew. Our time would be better spent on QPR message boards warning their fans of the perils that await them with Ian Holloway in charge, and on Cardiff City forums to caution their supporters of the fate that lies in store for them with Neil Warnock at the helm. I'm sure they are all awaiting our input and will really value our insight and opinions, as they will when we return in a few seasons' time to say that we told them so when things maybe aren't quite so rosy.
