Mandanda 5 - Odd way of diving lets the second goal bounce in

Kelly 5 - Average display, disappointing going forward

Dann 5 - Average, should have been the leader to calm everything down and expect the late counter.

Delaney 4 - Hugely at fault for the 2nd, got sucked in and left a huge gap behind.

Ward 6 - Improved of late, was ok on both sides

Cabaye 6 - Didn't protect the back 4, decent passing, tried to force it one or 2 times

Puncheon 6 - Should have been more ruthless with one chance he had.

Zaha 8 - MOTM but was hugely at fault for the first goal, stood off for no reason.

Townsend 6 - Can be wasteful, hit the post, some decent crosses

Benteke 7 - Got on the end of a few chances, good penalty

Subs
Wickham 7

Fryers 5

Ledley n/a - not enough time

Pardew 4 - Same mistakes remain, even within the same game. First and 3rd goal conceded were identical. I know managers don't possess a magic wand to correct things in a flash but the defending has been getting steadily worse under him.

Made 2 good substitutions, changed the game, then shot himself in the foot AGAIN by making the 3rd sub, taking McArthur's energy out of the side.

Playing with 10 men doesn't help.

My boys first Palace game. He had to pee and we missed the Wickham goal.

Starting line-up all wrong and they had no idea how to play. 3 in the middle abject. Defence beyond crap. Steeeeve's worst 45 mins in a Palace shirt.

Subs worked. Big Ben could (should?) have had a couple from open play. Pen was coming. Looked most likely to win. Craphouse desire right at the death to lose the game. Are we fit enough?

Burnley were a poor side in all honesty and we get nothing.

Sure I read we were working on the game tactics/line up all week and falls apart in 90 seconds.

Only positives are form of Zaha and the fact we are scoring. Unfortunately, defending like that will mean all sorts of trouble.

In fairness to jules from where I was sat I'd have forgotten jimmy was on We need a Jedi type in front of back four and a 4 1 3 2 formation(yep that's ten joe&#128522 and Wayne back in the sticks to come for corners ok AP

Mandanda 4 Awful kicking nearly cost us another goal in the first half when kicked it straight to Burnley player, should have saved the second and was out of position for the third.

Ward 4 nowhere to be seen going forward or in defence. Tried to beat one of their wingers for pace on a few occasions and was never going to happen

Dann 5 looks lost at the moment I don't know whether giving javascripttylebut(0);him the armband has made him lose track of his own game

Delaney 5 works hard but fed up with him lumping it forward all the time

Kelly 2 awful performance defensively and going forward a bit like ward but worse

Zaha 7 would have got a higher score if not been partly to blame for burnleys first goal. One of our only players who looked like causing problems from the midfield.

Puncheon 6 didn't do much wrong but didn't create enough. Is will say his passing seems to have improved a lot this season.

Cabaye 6 put in a few tackles had a couple of shots nothing amazing but nothing terrible.

MacArthur 5 unusual poor passing from him today lost the ball on a couple of occasions which put us on the back foot.

Townsend 6 A few sparkles of class started really brightly then became very frustrating to watch then won the penalty from his cross and unlucky not to score in dying seconds.

Benteke 7 held up play well good header in second half forced a deflection which took it wide which ref didn't see and gave a goal kick. Great penalty!

Wickham 7 great finish looked like he had a point to prove I still really like him and don't forget he is still only 23 got a lot to learn and I still think has bags of potential.

Fryers 6 again looked ok when came in definite starter in front of Kelly now

Ledley 4 didn't do anything

Overall terrible defensive display and on that basis deserved to lose

Apart from give them the first goal from a horrendous corner. That's ok though, we'll blame Pardew!

That first corner was horrendous. Thought Punch throughout was poor in his distribution. Back to that corner, as bad as it was I'm sure it was Zaha who had a couple of chances to clear it up by the half way line but then gave it away which resulted in them scoring. Our defending from front to back was awful. Or was it not Zaha - as you can tell, I haven't looked at it since and don't want to - terrible, terrible defending by us for 95 minutes yesterday :-(

Was interested in Goalkeeping stats this term and I was surprised at the results:

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

really disappointed to lose a game we could and should have won.

All 3 of Burnley's goals were almost identical - 2 came from our set pieces. Conceding once in that manner is poor to do it twice is shocking.

In between we had spells when we looked quite good - Zaha should have scored at 1-0, moments before they got the 2nd, and at 2-2 surely there was only 1 winner.

Disappointments were

1. Steveee - i'm sorry you have to save the 2nd. No excuses

2. Kelly - all over the place. At one point he had a man behind him whom he just completely ignored and just drifted into the centre leaving his man in 10 yards of space. Unbelievable lack of cencentration

3. Midfield 3 (whoever that is) is a concern. Cabeye just no creativity and always close to a booking, Punch flatters to deceive for me and Jimmy whilst the best by a mile is being asked to play in a position more forward than he is comfortable with.

4. Townsend - expect a bit more from. Fails to beat his man and lacks a yard of pace.

I'm struggling to see where our next win is coming from and that's a massive concern

Mandanda - 6
Should of saved the second but redeemed himself with a superb save second half.

Kelly - 5
Poor again from Kelly, offered nothing going forward and suspect defensively. Rightly hauled off.

Dann - 6
Made one superb block 1st half to deny a strike at goal. Still looks a yard off the pace after injury.

Delaney - 6
Average display from Damo, looking like time is finally catching up with him.

Ward - 6
Much better when switched to right back, offered much more of a threat than Kelly in an attacking sense.

Cabaye - 7.5
Would have gave him an 8 but his set pieces were terrible. Put in a good shift, passing was superb. Unlucky with a 25 yarder.

Puncheon - 6
His set pieces were also terrible which contributed to burnleys first goal. Quiet and ineffective.

Zaha -8.5
MOM for me, was a constant threat and continuously skinned the full backs. Great assist for 1st goal. Finally adding end product.

Townsend - 6
Good in spells but very wasteful in possession. Came to life last ten, assist for penalty and almost levelled at the end, striking the post.

Benteke - 7
Cool penalty and held the ball up well. Was unlucky on a few occasions when ball just wouldn't drop for him in the box.

Subs
Wickham - 7
Cracking finish and linked play up well when he came on.

Fryers - 6
Did okay but just not premier league standard.

Ledley - 5
Not on long enough to affect game.

All in all a very poor defensive display, but looked dangerous going forward second half and did not deserve to lose. Pards needs to address this asap to stop the rot.

Sadly he was, in fact he was the last Palace player to get a touch before their winning goal.

He nodded the ball straight to one of their players on the edge of the box and seconds later it was in the back of our net.
