Why? Presumably because we've paid £10m for Tomkins to replace Delaney and if we keep chopping and changing then it makes it harder for him and Dann to form a decent partnership. The argument against that is that we desperately need to stop the slide and get something today, and Delaney will put his body on the line and not turn his back on shots.

Maybe the left-footed and left-sided Delaney is in there to help out the struggling Kelly, who will be alongside him. I like the look of the team and believe Puncheon and Townsend IN and Ledley and Chungy OUT is a big upgrade on last week's shambles.
