RIP. A minutes silence will be good for us to show our support.

Not to start a debate in this of all topics but the article is written so poorly. When they say treated as not suspicious is that likely to mean a suicide attempt or it was an accident?

Everything in the article points towards him enjoying life at this time, although depression is a twisted disease. He just had a new job and was out celebrating? Even more tragic if he fell.

Such sad news for someone so young.

From the little I have been told (My daughter knew him and some of the other people involved). It was just an accident. They were messing about and doing silly things like lads do, he just couldn't get back on to the platform.

RIP

There is a comment at the end of one of the news articles, from a woman who's husband was on the train, saying that he was cutting across the tracks, which would seem to be similar to what you've been told. We've all done silly things as teenagers, fortunately they don't usually get you killed.

I heard about this through my sister yesterday. So before I get shot down in flames, please note that this is all hear say.

She was asking if I needed my ticket on Saturday as some of the friends of the boy couldn't get tickets as they game was a sell out. The club were going to let them in to observe the silence on the pitch but then they would have to leave the stadium before kick off.

She's told me know that she doesn't need the ticket as FIFA has said they didn't have enough notice to approve it... (Please don't use this thread to slag off FIFA, but feel free to use another one).

I'd imagine it will be put off until the Man City game, so if people have spare tickets it might be helpful to contact the club so they can be offered to the boy's friends.

Also, I've seen posts on here and on news websites where people have speculated about the details. Please don't do that - it's grotesque.

Hopefully someone in the fanatics can organise a one minute applause or similar on the 19 minute mark on Saturday ?
