The policing and stewarding was quite comical. All we kept getting told is that their offenders were all on CCTV so would get banned which of course is total BS. Despite this, I was sadly disappointed that we didn't appear to show any unity of support and allowed them to out-sing us on every occasion - if Palace support is supposed to be so special, this was a bit embarrassing actually. What tosh, our support was good first half with the whole end singing, was flat second half i agree. Leicester's support was good once they were winning with their noisest fans either side of Ours it made for a decent atmosphere. Did not hear anything racist and never do, think someone made that up to stir the pot

Ollie's Dad,Ash, I was going to say the same ... loud singing from Palace fans audible all the way through the game but overshadowed by Leicester when they thought the game was beyond reach.

I was on the left of our section about a dozen seats away from the leicester, who did seem to prefere facing toward us and chanting with their contorted faces (part and parcel of away games, seen much, much worse of course) but I felt gratitude towards them as it mean't I couldn't hear those f***ing clappers.

Considerable consolation I suppose although that's probably because they were throwing them at the Palace fans! In terms of our support, I can only call it as I see it and it seemed more disjointed than usual to me - no HF?. However, I will defer to the opinions of others if I am in the minority.
Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes. |

Opinions may vary but I agree with your choice of the word disjointed.

Yes - I'd agree with that. Thought our singing was pretty good and had a laugh at the 'we're going to win 4-3' chant once we went 3 down.

I had a look on their forum thread and even they said they were flat and we were pretty vocal. Couldn't even watch the game unfortunately, so I can't say for myself...

I was sat exactly half way in our section so I'm probably a good gauge of how we sounded as wasn't next to the home fans. I thought we were good and better than we were for the only other away game I've been to this season which was Tottenham. Yes, we got slightly quieter when they scored, but we still picked it back up again, which most fans wouldn't when they're 2/3-0 down. I do feel they were smug f***ers though and I had a few of them goading me when I left and walked up the road. Not really any need for it, but I'll certainly enjoy singing "You're f***ing s***, you're f***ing s***" back at them when we beat them at Selhurst later in the season....

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Did you have a woolly hat on that was covering your ears. Wasn't that cold bubble!. Admittedly I was on the end next to the Leicester so Mr F a better judge overall - can't say I'm not pleased to hear it too! Decent turn out and only an hour on the train, I would have thought HF would've made the effort for this one.
