Not sure if this has been prior said. But swings and roundabouts, he was arguably one of our best players at Everton.

I would love to see him a centre back, maybe not yet but soon, or possible in CDM/CM, which for oldies is the number 6. He has got the ability and athleticism to be a very good midfielder, just isn't quite quick enough to play outwide. But is a very good player and future captain. Also people are forgetting he used to be one of our best players, now he looks average in a good team we have good!

I would love to see him a centre back, maybe not yet but soon, or possible in CDM/CM, which for oldies is the number 6. He has got the ability and athleticism to be a very good midfielder, just isn't quite quick enough to play outwide. But is a very good player and future captain. we are, aren't we? When we came up Ward was considered one of the best in the squad. I'd have him down as maybe our 13th or 14th best player now.

Casual is right. He isn't quite good enough anymore for a first team with some very decent Prem level players. We have no one to replace him at the mo' though.

Couldnt disagree more. I think he is premier league standard. The two weaker links i have seen recently are martin kelly, who is a very limited full back with no real attacking quality and joe ledley, i think the difference in quality when cabaye came on yesterday really was telling.

I don't recall any right back rumours only left back ones, so not sure Pards will change anytime soon. For me, he blows hit and cold, and goes wandering and seems to try to do somebody elses job too often. He can get better though, definitely wouldn't sell. Parrot Mr Cadbury's Parrot says "Hello"
