I wouldn't call it fleecing of fans. If anything I'd call it fleecing of glory hunters.

Before you all shout at me yes I know there are a FEW cases where a real Palace fan has been down on his luck and unable to afford a season ticket the last 5 or 6 years or perhaps they were a season ticket holder 10 years ago, went to go live in Australia and are now back.

Stories like that though are few and far between. For the majority on the list, where the hell were you when we had 10 points deducted? Or even when we were a Premier League Club but expected to go straight back down with a lower points total than Derby.

You wouldn't be paying or waiting if you'd of come when the fixtures weren't as glamorous and we had Alan Lee and Calvin Andrew instead of Benteke and Remy.

I don't know how long our waiting list is but people who wish to join the MCC have to wait an average of 23 years and many of them don't make it to the finish line

Should these second class fans be made to wear clothes with "I am not a real fan" emblazoned on them so that the real fans like you know exactly who to wave their willies at

It will certainly encourage the club to carry forward the ground redevelopment at the fastest pace the associated bureaucracy will allow.

How long did Liverpool's new stand take?

About 15 years of buying up all the neighbouring houses on the sly and boarding them up to devalue the remaining houses on the same streets who were reluctant to sell

2 years to then build the stand

They'll be dead most of them before they get one.

The power of the Executive to cast a man into prison without formulating any charge known to the law, and particularly to deny him the judgment of his peers, is in the highest degree odious and is the foundation of all totalitarian government whether Nazi or Communist.

using that 'Exact Science' of yours, looks like Palace are moving the stadium into the Whitgift Centre instead of Westfield!!!

Yeah because I always go on about how I'm such a real fan. I very rarely go to Away games incidentally which I know to the real willy wavers is a big no no.

Me being a better fan than others was never the point. If you start your season ticket next season and I've had mine for 10 you're just as much as a fan as I am.

In fact if you never go to any game but are a big Palace fan then you are still as big a fan as I am.

My issue is people complaining that the club is now too popular to get a season ticket without joining a waiting list for £10. It wouldn't be an issue if you'd of got your ticket during the darker times.

I don't think I blame the club for charging a one off nominal fee to what is most likely glory hunters. I'm sure a good portion of the waiting list are people that want a Premier League season ticket at a cheaper price than Chelsea/United/Spurs/Arsenal etc.

Precisely. No one club policy is going to suit everyone, but the line the board take on this makes sure the vast majority are treated fairly.

I would suspect that list dissapears quite quickly, Quite a few will not reknew next season and quite a few on the list won't bother either. Have a feeling some are a little upset at the new ground.
