Totally agree CP. An asylum seeker/refugee should seek asylum in the first safe haven they arrive at, these are economic migrants, believe me I have seen numerous examples. Perhaps Ms ALLEN should open her mega property for the use of these poor people..oh I thought not.

Agreed. They say empathy is the highest form of human intelligence so well done Lily and thank you for speaking for atleast some of the British...Fa4age's empathy towards Donald is not really comparable
Last year i found out (by some incredible genetic tests) that on my fathers maternal line we were descended (albeit from maybe 1000 years ago) from Syria so now when i read of young Syrian kids dying crossing the Med, my sense of dismay at their plight and guilt over whether i could be doing more to help is magnified.
