You're like the guy in the bar who's looking for a row! Not that I'm keen to give you any joy on that front. I think the Pardew out brigade were unhappy with our poor tactics, and at times illogical team and sub selection. I believe those complaints had some justification but I also saw that changing manager is disruptive. Our squad was thin - and unbalanced. Parish and Pardew have done well to nearly fix its most glaring weaknesses. And to think we still have players to return to the squad.

Looking forward to playing Wet Spam. We got tonked last season if I remember right.

..get tapped into computers these days, I will repeat to all you idiots who moaned and groaned like all the equally dump arsed Newcastle tits that our manager is quite possibly the best manager we have ever had, he needed time and it was very evident that he was getting respect from the team and staff around him, the unfortunate results meant nothing as long as the team comes together and doesn't capitulate during any particular game and during all the games in our unfortunate run this team tried and could have very very easily got points from every single game during it, I'd love somebody who disliked Mr Pardew to point me to a full game where he lost the players commitment and desire.......there wasn't one you total fools.

Away at Aston Villa last season, or am I being a total fool ?

I did find some of the negativity excessive and irritating and I don't think I was alone in that. Equally I get worried about people getting carried away after a run of four good games. I am a glass half full kind of guy, we do have a great core to our team now, we are heading in the right direction and we have come a very long way in a short space of time. BUT it would only take a couple of injuries to key players and a couple of unlucky losses for the 'Pardww out' brigade to resurface.

A game of football lasts 90+ minutes and a season last 38 games, I try not to get too down about going 0-2 down to Sunderland or losing at home to WBA, whereas some people do react very quickly to any setback.

This is a great time to be a Palace fan (and I've been one since 1963) and I for one intend to enjoy it to the full.

...bad mistake by Hennessy and it ended 1-0, we had plenty of ball but miserable in front of goal, the game away against man.c was the only real game where the result ran away from us, but again
Hennessy made a disastrous mistake and then a shot miles out was deflected into our goal by Dann..very fortunate city were because we again played nice possession football but sadly without any teeth up front.

..I'm the last person who wants a row, but it was so obvious that all the mistakes were being made on the pitch and not of it that I became a bit rowdy towards all the silly fans who cried for Mr Pardews head to be hacked off!..as we are begining to see now all we really needed was a competent striker, this was never Mr Pardews fault.

West Ham have been poor this season but we know they're a good team. If we lose when we play them after the break, people will be on here calling for Pardew's head. We can't expect to simply win every game.

Digression: The international break comes at a strange time; good on the one hand as it allows us time for some of our players to get back from injury (Dann) or have a rest. On the other hand, it checks our momentum a tad and also risks injury to our international players.

..we very very rarely lose by more than one goal meaning we are always in with a chance and the opposing team knows it, if we lose to West Ham it would be because they deserved it...because to beat us teams need to be on the ball and fight every blade of grass to do it, Mr Pardew has been brilliant for this club, because he has showed patience and resilience and Mr Parish has been brilliant in backing him.
