How long did it take him to get his assist at Sunderland? No harm in playing to his strengths; I'd like to see him get longer but I'm sure we shall.

In my opinion its a dumb question,he is suspect defensively and Everton away not ideal for him.Hes an attacking impact sub and games like tonight just don't suit him, home games we need a lift in would be the type that he may well get longer. To be perfectly honest I think he will be sold in the summer as we continue to upgrade the squad provided of course we remain in the PL.I think he is one of those that is in between PL/Championship quality and he needs to drop back down a division to get game time to improve. Its nothing personal, just my opinion and it would be awesome if he proved me wrong.Once Remy is fit I think its going to be hard for him to get a place on the bench if we are injury free and at some point Kai Kai is going to be added into the equation. Fair comment

I wonder if 2 minutes qualifies for an appearance bonus?

This is the premier league and you need to take the chance when the opportunity arrives. There will be a time when Puncheon isn't available, that is when Chungy needs to step up.

2 minutes is a bit of a waste of time I admit, but thats all it was designed ti do - waste a bit of time.

I like the player a lot. He can play in midfield or on the wing. He's quick, imaginative and industrious. It must be frustrating for him to come on for just a token couple of minutes - bit of an insult to him really. He must be looking at the likes of Gayle, Murray and Bannan and wondering if he might not be better off being a first-choice player at a Championship club. Edited by auk (01 Oct 2016 8.45pm)
