If it was not for his injuries, JW would have had a few good seasons with us in the top flight; would have operated in a more peripheral role last season; and would have been sold for a good 6 figure sum to a newly promoted team this summer.

You will never see him playing the Palace first XI again.

Shame but if his face doesn't fit it's probably best for him to move on

This probably means that Pardew had the closer look in pre-season this was interupted by his injury. He is going to Ipswich to get fit and hopefully prove his worth. He will comeback in January and Pards will finally decide.

I don't think it is his face doesn't fit the club have stood by him during all his injuries without any real proof he is good enough for EPL football. If he wasn't one of our own products we would have long ago questioned him still being at club.

I don't think it is inconceivable he will get a cup game or two when he returns from Ipswich in January, but basically the above is my view.

He is a good lad and has shown promise but time for everyone to move on. He is not going to help us progress to the next level that the club are obviously looking towards.

Defo a good lad with promise... much like Barry Bannan is/was.

Probably too small in stature realistically for the top flight and should settle for the Championship like Barry has.

He goes with our blessing.

I think you are right. Especially the way we are playing and the options we have. Punch is simply quality playing in the hole and Chung Lee can play there, as can Cabaye if necessary. Jonny's days are numbered

If the lad is observant enough he'll have learnt enough to be a very good physio one day.

Williams hasn't played for Ipswich first team this season.
He has had an ankle injury and played for their U23s the other day.

I wonder if it's occurred to him yet that he may well have chosen the wrong career?

I'd like to see him given a go as an impact sub for the last 10 when he's back in Jan. His energy reminds me of Watmore and he can give headaches to tired defenders like Lee does.

Providing he can stay injury free...

Too much, he never plays, made of glass. I cannot see him getting another contract.

Will never play for us again, we have improved our squad, he hasn't improved.
