NO!, please pardew, please realise what happened last year at christmas, history will repeat itself once again, our squad is thinner than kate moss on a diet, we just can't afford to lose anyone from that first 11, once we do then here we go again. Play the second string please im begging you. Injury to Scotty Dann and say Jimmy Mac we'll endure the same dreadful end as last season. Go for the cup when our squad is capable of still being strong without key players, at the moment we have Zeky Fryers as our back up left back, now - unless he's dramatically improved in the last two years - that's worrying. Play safe.

Our best chance of winning anything is the cups, we need to field the best team possible, especially against other Premier teams.

Injuries to defence concern me, especially CB and LB, and I am willing Fryers to succeed tomorrow and force his way on merit into the first XI. Also, I think 2 of those on your subs bench are currently on the physio's bench. I just mean if he truly looks out of his depth then we just have to write him off.

Think back to our first season under Holloway, that was a poor squad. Yes we can always build, but a squad quality has its problems keeping them all happy.
