Still one of my favourite ever palace player's. Scored some cracking goals for Palace.

I thought he was a bit of a big time Charlie.

(I have assumed you have initiated pun club)

I met him in 1994 at the Palace open day, and he came across as a mellow guy.

Insert obvious jokes about grass pitches and clearly defined white lines.

Enough of your smack talk. Which I realise isn't the drug in question but you can't get on your high horse about it.

I remember when he was playing for Palace he didn't appear one evening - Alan Smith wouldn't say why, then it turned out he'd tested positive

The UK is the country with the cocaine problem. The value of cocaine seized last year, was 1.7bn (at street prices). Even if the police had a 50% success rate, that represents 1.7bn plus in terms of income into criminal enterprises and organised crime. The police actually reckon on 10% being a reasonable figure (meaning that potentially UK cocaine trade alone is work around 5bn per year, entirely in the hands of gangs and criminal organisations).

Less than 2% of seizures involved more than 500 grams of cocaine, with 68% of seizures being for less than a gram, meaning that despite claims of 'going after the dealers, the reality is that its ordinary people and low level dealers that are being arrested.

he had a great partnership with Paul Williams back in the day. Great striker for us. Heard a while back he was into smoking crack. Not surprised at the news.

Remember him scoring a 'CRACK'ing goal away to Wolves in the FA Cup many moons ago, ball stuck in the top station....think we won 4-1? Pitcher & Dowie(2) if my fauddled memory recalls

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

He hit that shot so hard there was a smoke trail behind it.
