We wear the same colours (and some of their old kits), so I see no reason why we can't be as good as Barca!

I reckon Messi isn't all that. He couldn't handle the slopey pitches and the wind that we used to deal with on Purley Way on Sunday mornings.

Think Pards should consider selling Benteke. We bossed Stoke yesterday and still he couldn't score!
We could replace him with that Turkish striker Issa Jokugunun

There is a distinct possibility of us doing exactly that. It would probably only take about 14 or 15 other teams getting banned for various reasons.

After two wins on the trot, it's no exaggeration to say that Palace are now a resurgent force.

Touch wood, we should win the Premier League this year.

The FA Cup is ours to lose, and the League Cup... well, I don't think it's a priority any more.

But.... let's not get complacent. We must not get ahead of ourselves. The worst thing we can do now is lose our heads.

Keep it real, people.

I think, when the time comes, we may need to let Steve Parish go. He's worked wonders for Palace, but is he a Champions League chairman? Oh yeah? Are you sure about that mate?

Nice bloke and all that, but we have to make hard decisions.

There's a Russian oligarch, Nokko Ponentsov, who has somehow got backs of money. I'm convinced he 's a Palace man and he cares about the fans.

Or if he doesn't match up, there's another oligarch - a rising star of African politics who is anxious to come to London. His name is Dr Ubungme M'Bezzla.

I think Mdananda, Benteke and Parish are all good lads, don't get me wrong, but there's no room for sentiment in this game.

Come on, what are your plans for the future?

....and he does lack a bit of pace.

Reminds me of the bit in the Vicar of Dibley where David is standing for election as Councillor and his son finds one person who is going to vote for him and extrapolates this into an argument that he will become the Prime Minister.

This is true it just so happens I have one in stock so if you would like to deposit $1,000,000 into my account I can post it off to you this week

Benteke played some of the game out on the wing yesterday, a bit like Wickham does when he's fit. Coincidence possibly but I prefer my strikers to stay in the box.

It won't work without a sonic screwdriver either!

I have already had "PALACE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS 2018" tattooed on my bum in the certain knowledge that this will happen.
