I guess you're including Tomkins rather than Delaney? ;-)

Kelly is a very handy player to have in the squad, full stop. He can play in any position along the back four very competently.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

If he is getting up to scratch, and I do have no idea if he is because he has played so little, Fryers would be a nice option purely because I don't think we now have a left footed player in the side?

Having said that, I do rate Martin Kelly and whether Kelly should be the RB over Ward is a different question. Without Pape's unfortunate incident, I think Ward may have been under some serious pressure over the next few games. Option to play Ward at LB and Kelly at RB?

I was saying after the game that we look a lot more solid when Kelly plays, even if he does lack a bit of forward movement. Not averse to the back four staying as it was on Saturday with Tomkins replacing either Ward or Delaney when fit, who both look out of sorts.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Is the Tomkins issue fitness? I've been wondering why he isn't starting

Played a couple of times at CB for us including the disaster against Liverpoool last year. I'm not sold on him as a CB. I think he is a handy back up full back though.

Still think we need to upgrade both First choice full backs. And have done for a while.

I wish Souare well, I was looking forward to seeing Benteke getting on the end of one of those wicked curling crosses.

If we had a twentysomething Doris and Kenny as our full backs now I would fully expect this team to be top eight if not higher come May.

One more quality attacking midfielder and two quality full backs and the jigsaw should finally be complete.

The option presented seems to me the right one with Tomkins adition instead of Delaney. With this Dann could play at left center.
