I think part of the problem is that we got such f**king amazing deals on Bolaise and Jedinak in the first play. 29,300,000 on what we paid for them. In truth I'm amazed we kept them so long. They say no manager gets all their transfers right, but f**k me Freedman did wonders with a tiny budget.

It does feel good to be a team that can sell players at a profit again. Just don't sell any more at the 11th hour!

My issues with Pardew are the stupid things he does and says . Brought in cabaye and statted he was worth his wage and no other player in the squad was . Stupidity ! Took punch of free kicks even though he banged in the joint most free kicks the season before . He's full of him self, the players don't like him . And don't get me started on that stupid dance at Wembley , as soon as I saw him doing it I knew we would loss . The treatment of Jedi was poor . A top bloke and a great servant to our club treated that bass Shame full . Will miss him against the wba and stokes that's for sure . Haven't said that I I'll back him and the club no matter what .

Our style of play was found out - sit deep, hoof it to the wingers and hope for the best. New players, new style, I for one am looking forward to it.

Either this or that pile of poo we played v W.B.A. Against WBA we had 2 players on the field that have now left the club, 3 new signings not on the park, players not fully fit from Euros and no Benteke. This home game perhaps is the time for us to close our bad run off and start winning repeatedly again. There is still time for more purchases (and a few more sales) so all not lost at all. Judge AP and the squad after 10 games. The next 8 are pretty tough starting tomorrow.

People have made their minds up about Pardew and even if we achieve something amazing and finish top 6 this season, they'll bugger off and wait for us to slump again. Of course our squad is looking weaker currently, but the transfer window isn't shut yet. Maybe we should wait to assess the squad until our business is complete, and wait to assess the manager when he's bedded the signings in. Or we could sack Pardew right now, leave the club in disarray, try to get targets in without a manager and add a new one to our list of transfer targets.

Jedinak - The situation may of been that he wants to play for a manager that could more or less say he is a 1st team player and understandingly Pardew couldn't do this with the defensive midfielders we have. At 32 he perhaps doesn't want to sit on the bench.

Why blame Pardew? There are 11 players on the pitch and up to 3 will get substituted. The players are just as responsible (if not more) for the result at the end of each game. Pardew doesn't kick a ball during the game. Edited by europalace (26 Aug 2016 3.19pm)
