Maybe he can convince Zaha to play for the Ivory coast if he does come. I get the sense England are stringing him along a bit, and its not really fair on him. IC really could have a smashing team given the talent that comes out of their country.

He can't, as I understand it football isn't like the olympics where you can represent whoever you want at each different games.

Zara has made appearances for England not in friendly matches which means his hands are tied I believe.

The Ivorian striker is very close to a deal with Crystal Palace.
Jonathan Kodjia was the big sensation of the English League 2 last season. Angers arrived with the title of best player 2015de Ligue 2, the native of Saint-Denis (France) was quickly noted. In a team of Bristol City very limited, the Ivorian particularly distinguished by multiplying the great benefits. In 42 tenure, he planted 19 goals; Bristol saving from relegation.
Unfortunately for the Red and White, they are about to lose their best player. Coveted on the transfer market, Kodjia would be close to a deal with Crystal Palace who sold his Congolese striker Yannick Bolasie Everton. The Ivory Coast international and Crystal leaders agreed on a four-year contract. But discussions are still very tense between the Premier League club Bristol City and has priced the striker to 25 million euros. A relatively high sum for a player who has never played in first division championship since his professional debut. Bristol had paid 3 million euros to acquire the new striker Elephants in Angers.

reminiscent of Peter Butterworth's performance as the foreign hotel manager in 'Carry on Abroad' ladies and gentlemens very success for the Bristols

Kodjia has not scored this season in 4 apps but last season he scored 20 goals.

Terrific pace with and without the ball and has scored some fantastic goals.

Club have not talked about anything near £21 Mill !!!!
Bristol City have talked about "Not less than £10 Mill" and it would have to be a PL club and not a club in the Championship.

This may have legs because Bristol City have about £4 million coming from sale of Bolasie so may be prepared to take this as part payment on Kodija. So £5 million plus the Bolasie % and 20% of Kodija future sale ?

I could be wrong but I think that Wilf's two appearances have been in friendly internationals Sweden and Scotland

He looked a very good player when I watched him live against Norwich on Tuesday.

Big, strong and skilful. Played right wing but can play up front too.

Yes please!

It does not work like that, if Bolasie has a sell on clause in his contract, that is something that is totally separate from any other dealings as under FA rules it's a football debt and the FA will ensure that it's paid first.

Quite. I do like the way you're thinking, PitB, but as the good sergeant says, the price for Kodjia would be a payment in addition to the sell on fee for Bolasie.

I remember reading Bolasie fee was in installments so therfore Bristol may not get there all their money now. By attaching to a transfer they probably would.

Did we not buy out most of the Bolasie fee we were due to pay a couple of months back when Brizzlenwere struggling?
