This has been put in Transfer talk and he's not what we need or good enough for us as we need to push on now.

Nothing arrogant about that.

I think it might just be the matter-of-fact way you go about expressing what actually is an opinion. You don't think he's prem class. Others do. All it takes is adding an 'in my opinion' or a simple 'i think' and your comments will instantly seem less arrogant

Nevertheless, it's good to see HIM doing well irrespective of who he's with!

Not sure Bournemouth fans would agree, considering what they paid for him. Was gutted we sold him but the money was right as was the time and although he would do a better job imo than some of our strikers off the bench no one has offered to give us 5 million odd for them.

Was absolutely the perfect time to sell him.

He was let go to early, but the money was to good to turn down, but total respect to Glenn for what he did for Palace, but the blue and white doesn't suit him.

We should have kept Murray and Sold Gayle.

I have some friends who are Newcastle fans. Everything they say is negative about him.

I am convinced if we had kept him we would have finished higher up the table.

In my humble opinion, Murray at this point in his career has gone past the days of being effective in the PL.
I recognise his wonderful contribution at our club but alas I don't believe he could make a positive impact in the PL.

Yes he scored a brace last night (In the Championship) but as they say "One swallow doesn't make a summer".

IMHO I think Murray is going to have season of his life, will score close to 40 goals. Brighton will get automatic promotion.

We are going to struggle big time this season to score goals, we may get the odd 4-2 win with variety of players scoring, but just NOT confident of us in the final third. It was the biggest area of concern in the team last season and somehow we're starting this season even further backwards than last season regarding strikers.

Murray would still not be the answer to our scoring problems or that of any other Prem club, I totally agree with Willo. Most people are honest enough to say he would not cut it in the Prem. Just not enough pace any more. Will indeed have a good season a level down. Good luck to him.

Most certainly not European.

Will have a good season in the Championship. Not good enough or what we need. Would be smashing them in for Bournemouth if he was Prem standard now wouldn't he.

I think he was defenitly what we needed, he really suited our style of play and was our second top scorer in the 14/15 season despite only playing from January onwards

If that's what you believe, I'd suggest sticking a tenner on it - you'd get a hell of a price.
