There are actually some quite eloquent arguments on the petition thread. I'm surprised the pikeys even know what a petition is. I thought personal abuse on social media and general threats and harassment would be more their style.
Not wanting to show them any sympathy, I can see their point. However, I do not particularly remember them wishing us anything other than bad luck so I think the saying goes somewhere along the lines of 'you make your bed - you lie on it' or tough s*** - whichever you prefer.

Great idea!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who reads NSC (although I'd never post on there); it's a delicious little guilty pleasure. The bitterness on there against almost the whole of the rest of the world is palpable. There's hardly a club in the whole football league that they don't have a beef with, except their great mates, The Clowns. If ever two sets of fans deserved each other, it's those two.

It keeps me amused with all the moaning.

It was great fun when they drew with Boro on the last day of the season. And then got stuffed 2-0 by Sheffield Wednesday in the first leg.

Miss out by a point, bottle the first leg, go out with a whimper in the final leg. Classic Brighton.

Almost as good as being beaten by us and we are still here. Nearly want them to make the play-offs again just for comedy value but would prefer them to be mid-table rubbish and go bust.

Relegation on gd last day of the season. I like to see them come within touching distance of joy, and have it torn away from them.

The ideal scenario for me would be for them to finish in 1st, then be forced into administration on the last day of the season, pushing them to sixth, and then to lose the 2nd leg, to an own goal.

And then start the next season on -15 points, and be relegated.

Totally agree with this. Seen your from my neck of the woods . When I did the front of my house up for the cup final the only people who wished us ill and were bitter about my efforts were Charlton fans. That said it all really

Charlton send letter to season ticket holders, informing them their tickets are on condition of them not tweeting anything negative about the club

This is amazing! It's not even saying, "We would appreciate it if you refrained from...", it's actually a condition! Absolutely incredible.

I wonder whether Brighton ought to tell their season ticket holders they'll be revoked if they leave the ground before the 75th minute.
