3 top signings and trying to buy a player at £30m which is over twice what we have ever paid for a player before. Reports that the refurb of Selhurst is about to be unveiled. There is a hell of a lot to be happy and excited about. Yes the issue about getting at least one striker in is frustrating but I for one fully trust SP to get the right deals done.

The previous signings have been absolutely fantastic but I must admit our struggle to land a striker is becoming somewhat of a cause for concern now with the season on the verge of starting. We need a main striker and another back up and I'm concerned Pardew sees Bolasie as filling one of those roles. I'm sure they're working very hard behind the scenes so here's hoping we're pleasantly surprised with Benteke or Bony this week.

Its as if a player at a top club, with some international pedigree and potentially European potential, isn't 100% set on joining a club that optimistically would finish just in side the top 10, and have less money than his current club. I mean, who wouldn't have Crystal Palace down as their first choice club.

Two players at 30m, we got turned down for his Belgium team mate. I'm still curious as to whether we are Crystal Palace. Gone are the days of relying on 80k Calvin Andrew to keep us in the league....

Well, I hav followed Palace longer them most I guess, and I have been trough a lot of upps and downs.and I guess the issue of or if the management can get hold of a deasent striker is very much on.
