Are you kidding? I pray that we have another season like the last - then we'll have another £125+ million with which to push on and cement our Prem status.

In fact, we could do with ten more seasons like the last.

I definitely see Bolasie going, but not for that much. Hopefully Dann will stay, especially now his chances of making the England squad have improved.

Who would ever want to play for england? The pressure, culture and general ethos time and time again rips the heart and belief out of any talent, flair or promise a player or current team may have, irrespective of manager. Media don't help one bit either. Guarantee by Winter 2017 Rashford will be nowhere near the England set up after having a poor run and 'going out of fashion'.

Both of whom we'd have to replace of course. I don't think you've really thought this through have you? And surely Bolasie has been here long enough to have his name spelt correctly.

were spending whats needed to keep up with the jones'

we will also be losing yannick & souare to the AFCON.

if these signings come off all are quality PL signings, not risky signings.

Santon would be a good signing as he can play at right back and left back and would be good cover for Souare

I would sell Bolasie if it is around the £25m mark.
I think we need a more technical box to box mid so Sissoko from Newcastle would be good.
Im not convinced about Benteke though. I would rather have Bakambu

This surprising flurry of transfer activity will really piss off a lot of posters on Holmesdale. net.

They love moaning about how we wait for last minute bargin buys etc.

Our transfer record is £10-£12m depending on who you believe. Now we have bid £31m, ok he chose Chelsea, but we are showing serious intent in the market.

We are not going to get everyone we bid for, but we are in the market early, which is great to get them bedded into the team before the season starts.

Our signings are of such a high quality we could attract a player from pretty much every club in the world.

I am impressed but worried. We are buying good players
but, so far, nobody to fill our most pressing need - a quality ball-playing, creative midfielder.
If we can't find one (and he won't be cheap) the investment elsewhere will come to nothing if we have
no supply from the middle (pumping balls out to the wingers is NOT creative)

totally agree. Mr and bilko have been saying same thing.

we either need this or someone like benteleb so cabaye can play as the attacking midfielder.

Think our most pressing need has been a Striker for the last year, creativity comes from the mind of the beholder.
So now that we have 2 strong cbs paired pardew should be able to afford to open that creative side (in the right way) and employ Cabaye in that playmaker role.
