FA have said that the next manager doesn't have to be English, just has PL knowledge. Benitez ? I suppose people will be thinking of Pardew, Allardyce and Bruce.

The baggage the press will sling at Pardew makes him a no go. But Pardew's ego has probaby ignored it. No wonder there's trouble at home which looked evident in late winter/early spring. Don't trust Pardew or any manager until we have a modern stadium and premiership stability. They will all walk or want to within a day of a tempting offer.

Southgate. Nailed on. Which is good, as it keeps him away from Selhurst Park.

David Cameron ...he's probably got about as much idea as Woy so should appeal to the FA.

It's been another disappointing England tournament and someone with an understanding and a shirt-term will to make it work with GN might do ok. How worse can it get anyway?
