TBF teamTALk is hardly a news worthy site is it? It's contributors are largely local fans

Respect to him if he stays, that I think could set his career back somewhat.

Agree with whoever said its time to either use him properly or let him move on. He's far too good to be warming our bench. Let him go to a newly promoted club and show what he can do. Those saying he doesn't offer anything are watching a different game...his aerial ability for a small guy...his hold up play...his dribbling...set pieces....and obvious his goal scoring. He's a class act. Top scorer three seasons in a row - mostly from the bench. Says a lot.

Wish you all the best Gayley whatever happens.

Is almost completely non-existent.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

This is just not true. He's hold up play started out poor and although it has improved he's not offering anything like PL standard on that front. He runs on to passes and lose balls, but he is easily dispossessed due to a bad first touch which often degrades his effectiveness. All the other areas I'll grant you, but your reaching on the hold up play.

I'm assuming you mean from his mouth and not with the ball? If the latter than can I ask you re watch his performances where he gets knocked off the ball pretty much all the time without getting a chance to dribble..

Three years he has been here and never been a first team regular. He's scored about 5 or 6 good goals and a few others.

He is a decent finisher but I have seen plenty of much better strikers playing for the club even in the lower divisions.

Move him on but buy a better striker to replace first or in tandem.

Puncheon? I thought AP was remarkably loyal to Punch this season even though he had an average season. Yes, he left him out of the Final starting XI, but I think that was tactical and had nothing to do with any dislike of JP.

I know...you're correct of course. it's just what Coppell did to Wrighty and it worked.

Never let the facts get In the way of ones hatred of an individual (in this case Pards) eh?
