Another stupid suggestion need a younger player. 31 aint bad for a centre back, should still have another good 3 years in him. He's never had a settled defensive partner since Agger left, I think a calm player like Dann would compliment him better than Sakho or Toure who can be as erratic as him.

Never really seen this guy run the ball out of defence and then give an incisive/clean pass. If we really are goin to improve in this area we need at least somebody who is willing to do this. Grappling/man marking/lugging the ball are the basics. I would only look at him as a replacement for Brede and personally I think Brede is better. So no from me. No journeyman please.

funny that some people on here saying hes not good enough they think every player we should sign should be world beaters when the whole objective is to improve the overall squad hangeland mariappa will be gone there is no way you can say that skrtl wont be an improvement

He's played in the premiership for ages and has a lot of champions league and international experience. If we could get him on a free the we should go for it. It's difficult to tell sometimes - I never had a particularly high opinion of Scott Dann before he joined and I'm sure some would have written him of as championship journeymen. Season after he's one of our best players, on the verge of an England call up and has been rumoured to be on Arsenal and Chelski's watchlist.

Definitely be keen if it's a goer. He's leagues about Delaney/Kelly etc. Similar class to Dann - which is what we should be aiming for. Would be awesome.

Severely lost quality over the past two seasons, should have been sold from Liverpool a long time ago. In fact their whole defence is terrible, need to lose that Sakho too, shambolic.

Sorry but NO. Gives away too many fouls/pens & loves scoring own goals. Too violent & likely to only get slower & even more aggressive; likened to a pitbull on Red Bull.
