Have looked up Jordan Pickford - yes please. We are also developing David Gregory. The pair could usefully compete with each other as they become the finished article - no goalkeeping problems for some years. COYP

I don't talk up the Dutch league, quite the contrary, but the rising star of last season, Vincent Janssen of AZ(the chap who scored the pen on Wembley last March) might be worth a gamble. At 16m Euro's, approx 12 m quid he won't come cheap but I'd love to have him. And really, would you want to see Cabaye gone? I know he was poor Saturday and was not always great in the league but still think he is our best player by some distance. Have the feeling he is struggling with injuries which is no excuse for the poor performance Saturday. good Originally posted by grumpymort

Let's assume our budget this window is £30-40 million including wages for new players plus whatever we sell. I would sell Bolasie if someone put in a £25mil + bid. He's an exciting player, but for that money, given his inconsistency and end product, I would have to accept a bid of that size. I would like to see us get in 2 defenders, 2 midfielders and 1 or 2 strikers. Personally I would like to see a bid for Tim Klose and Kourtney Hause as the defenders. Midfield, any of Chadli, Townsend or Sisto as wide/attacking players and then possibly Bentaleb from Spurs in the middle. Will Hughes or Teddy Bishop ones to look at in the Championship? Upfront is were I would struggle to say who I would bid for based on there's not that much out there. No doubt we'll be linked with Ba, Remy and a few other has beens. I think Batshuayi is out of our league so perhaps we should be looking at the next Batshauyi or Bony etc. someone like Selke or Milik? I think going abroad is going to be our only realistic option. I mean Bony would be great but his wages would be ridiculous.
