I spend a lot of time in the West Midlands and the daily phone in show is always full of Baggies complaining about his petulent attitude and the fact that Pulis doesn't play him due to his attitude. His ability is not in question but I don't think he is a good fit for the current mentality of the present squad.

i think most of the attitude is that he does not want to play for west brom hence been out of contract in 12 months 7 mill for him is a bargain

Goyle is as natural a goalscorer and has developed as a player every year. Why put his place in jeopardy with aomeone with such a poor attitude ans who wouljs undermine our teamsspirit?

i dont think he would be any trouble adebayor had twice the reputation of a disruptive player and not one problem from him since joining berahino is 3 years younger then gayle and taller for £7 mill its a easy yes only this cheap because of contract running down into its final year they were looking for 25 last year from tottenham you wouldn't sign a good championship striker for less then 10mill these days

...and we won't get him for £7M. I would not assess whether or not he is trouble by reference to what Pulis thinks of him. His training methods are all about repetition repetition repetition. Clearly this lad does not thrive under his methods and there is dissatisfaction. He won't go to the Spuds. They have moved on. There are, on the other hand, alternative better placed suitors. We may get him for more than £7M.

The way he has played second half of the season for WBA - I'd take him all day. Play him in either of the wing positions or 10 or up top? Only adds depth, quality and most importantly goals. Realistically he's not going to be at Palace but good to dream
