1. Higher priority ST holders (2500+ points) Most simple and fair way of doing it.

I think that because I can remember Cliff Jackson ,I should be in phase one.Seriously though if the season ticket holders have one each, then the question is the next phase. Are all members equal now or are members still going to split between old and new. Also the people who could have gone to the semi but chose not to, do they come before the people who gave the team such great support on sunday.

Daven - I've been thinking along same lines. Supporters who have experienced most promotions and relegations - I've got 10 & 7.

I think it's being over complicated. The club should know who the top 28,000 loyalty point holders are. Send a message out to all of them letting them know they are in the top 28,000 and give them a chance to link their memberships with their mates who are also eligible so people can sit together. Then give them 48hrs to buy tickets. I doubt we have many more members and season ticket holders than that so everyone who's gone to a few games should get one. This is good thinking, and is complimented by other posts. We are looking at the 12th man. The Semi-Final was an experience, with almost constant singing. Within our home attendance we have people who will be more comfortable at home rather than at Wembley. Selling tickets on a group basis to the dedicated - at Selhurst Park or through the Palace Box Office - would give a lot more flexibility. Hopefully all tickets will be sold as treasured, with nothing for the black market. Would there be any hope of action - ticket (seat place re-allocation by the Box Office) and points deductions against ticket buyers found to support the black market? Would there be a possibility of say a minimum of five eligible people taking along an extra friend (that they have carefully selected)?

I think CPFC should hide 28,000 golden tokens around the south east, and whoever finds one gets a ticket.

Same as the semi final personally. Worked fine in the end.

It doesn't matter which approach is used to be honest, some will be left annoyed, frustrated and disappointed. There is no way to guarantee a solution that doesn't leave people out that have a claim to be "loyal". The semi final approach seemed to work out in the end but left people split. Id personally like to see season ticket holders get two tickets straight away this time so I can go with my old man but its highly unlikely to happen.
This club of mine constantly tests my loyalty but I as do many other fans never falter or crumble My loyalty to the Palace will never waver My unadulterated passion for a club I’ve grown up supporting wont die, and my desire to keep coming back and take the blows won’t succumb to negativity |

To be honest I can't see them changing it from the way they did the semi final allocation. Personally I think anyone who went to the semi final should get bonus loyalty points. Totally agree, if you couldn't be bothered to go to the semi then you should stand little or no chance of getting a ticket via the club. Ok I appreciate that some fans may not have gone due to other commitments but that's just unfortunate.
We are Palace from Selhurst. |

I started following palace in 1968 but that does not make me a bigger priority over some one who started in 1978. For me , the same system as the semi for the final. I go to watch a game of football, not have a chat with my mates!

We should be allowed to choose where our seats are within a given block, even if we only get one ticket each. I can't see it making any difference and means at least friends/family can sit together.

Of course ST holders should be guaranteed 1 ticket per person that's expected but for the rest it really is going to be a free for all. Anybody have any suggestions on the fairest way they'd like to see them sold? I think after ST holders have purchased then a ballot for members would be a fair way to settle the argument but only members since the start of this season - I'm sorry but anybody who has bought a membership just so they could get a semi final ticket should be strongly discounted from applying for the final. Go to the ticket office and queue up like we did in the olden days
