Saw George Best play against us a few times for Man Utd. In terms of world class players / most famous, I suppose it would be Eusebio, although a bit past his peak

I saw Jim Cannon. No one in my book is better or more important. Oddly I saw Calvin Andrew score twice for Palace, in one season (against Sheffield Wednesday, away, in the FA Cup and Preston North End). A friend of mine was late to the Birmingham City game, by about five minutes, due to problems with the gate, he refused to believe that Wayne Andrews had scored, and was convinced everyone was winding him up.

I've seen more of him than I should, as I did with all the players when I was a mascot.

I saw the Barcelona team in 2010 at the Nou Camp which was about when they were really at their peak. Messi scored 2 that day. Edited by JohnB (05 Apr 2016 2.59pm)
