Was it Ryan Hall who played for us, left and ended up getting sent down for a spell. Bradley-Wright Phillips I think stole some handbags. Gavin Grant is doing life for murder. Unsurprisingly he played for Millwall. Just been given leave to appeal his mandatory 25 year sentence. Was also cleared of another murder.

Our footballers are a bit tame compared to the US Grid Iron boys, who even have a racist serial killer (who ironically got a longer sentence for kiting cheques than killing seven white people).

America, always have to go one step further. I think it says a lot about the three strikes system, that you can get life for kiting cheques, after having been released for a series of racially motivated murder.

At the time he was the famous one so took the headlines... but I'm pretty sure his lesser-known mate grew up to be none other than Nathan Dyer

Paul Davies got banned for 9 games for breaking Glen Cokerill's jaw during an Arsenal Southampton game with a vicious left hook. Ben thatcher for that horrible elbow/forearm to the head of Pedro Mendez.
