He seems to be getting a lot of TV punditry work on Sky - Arguably the job at Newcastle is more short term than that of an Irish Landmine detector.

Hopefully they'll go for a Keegan / Shearer / Dowie triumvate. Its about time someone hired Dowie to transition them into the Championship.

Looks like Newcastle are looking for a replacement to take the 'Reins' asap and as soon as they have secured one, McClaren will be gone.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Benitez' by jamiemartin721 Widely reported that Newcastle are likely to appoint Rafael imminently. Very experienced with an amazing track record .Would be a sound appointment for them and may well see them safe, at whose expense??

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Benitez' by jamiemartin721 I've consistently stated that a change of manager at Newcastle could prove catastrophic for us. Wouldn't their supporters love it if Newcastle survived and Palace under Pardew were relegated.
