Torn between Jean Jeanie & Life on Mars

Jean Jeanie I think is the first time I became conscious of Bowie. Life on Mars is a masterpiece which shouldn't be dismissed because of its popularity

the dignified don't even enter in the game

Naming your fave Bowie album is tricky. How about your favourite track?

Out of a list of very strong contenders, I've gotta say 'Quicksand' off Hunky Dory. Always loved it but it made me kinda well up listening to it this afternoon.

Anyone else brave enough to nominate one outstanding track?

Quicksand. You just copied my pick from the other thread.

If I have to be different I'll go for Starman which was my original fave.

Goodness is what you do. Not who you pray to.

Twas the first track I put on this morning when I heard the news.

I was aware of Bowie when you were a gleam in Moose Senior's eye.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Blimey! I've been listening to loads of Bowie today and not sure I can narrow down to one.

It's not Quicksand though - I never really liked the ending.

At various times it's been Queen Bitch, Sufragette City, Win, It's No Game (Part2), Drive in Saturday, When you Rock and Roll with me, Life on Mars, Rock n Roll Suicide, Changes and Ziggy Stardust.

If you put a gun to my head I'll say Queen Bitch.

You fed me, you bred me, I'll remember your name.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.
