Probably the worst suggestion I've heard in a long time. Other than going backwards rarely being the best way to go forward why would we sign a player we considered not good enough twelve weeks ago? And we were right, too. We got a very good sum for a great player rapidly reaching his sell-by date (something we realised and Bournemouth didn't.) He hasn't exactly set Bournemouth alight (and he was plain awful when we played them.) I love Glenn but the wonderful memories are best left where they are; in the memory bank.

Yeah..less of the we mate

Although we perhaps could do with another quality striker to put pressure on Wickham in the medium/long term, it appears that most of our apparent injury crisis will be resolved pretty shortly. Pardew said in the press conference that Wickham, Gayle and Sako will all be back for the Villa game next week. That only leaves Bolasie to return (Feb I believe?). The injury crisis was horrendous in the short term but at least we have got over it fairly quickly (assuming there are no further setbacks). Cabaye's suspension perhaps did us a favour in that it forced him to rest.

In short, we don't need Murray if Wickham's fit and it looks like he will be shortly.

If some people genuinely think that loaning Murray would be a good use of a loan this window, then you must be content with a mid-table finish. We need to kick-on not go backwards, even to do nothing is to move backwards. Murray is not the answer, even for Bournemouth. He was described in one report last week as a lumbering centre forward, is that really what we need?

Most certainly not European.

Sounds like another "proper Palace fan" thread in disguise. It IS "we". Tip: When you disagree with the wife, you're still married.

Awful idea. He was great for much of the time he was with us but was sold for a decent price but can't get into a Bournemouth side who, like us, are desperate for a decent striker.

He was awful against us and when he has played for Bournemouth he has generally been pretty awful apparently. He did score the winner against Chelsea, although it was clearly offside.

Trevor Aylott is available.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Why not bring back Calvin Andrew? He's on a decent run?

Daft idea which like Lazarus will probably crop up every 6 months for next few years.

Calvin scored two on Saturday. And I only wish Mark Lazarus would crop up to put a bit of steel into the side :-)
