No smoke without fire! There is if it's The Sun that's saying it.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Would love it to happen but really? mmmm Arsenal or Palace, Palace or Arsenal?? can't see that thought process lasting too long in his (or his agents) head.

Wonder if he knows Jason Eyenga-Lokilo who could have a word as this guy is just the type of player we should be going for. Not quite proven enough for top 4 but could easily be a top 4 player.

You think a 17 year old in our reserves could make the difference between a player signing for a club playing in a European competition and us? Yeah...OK

That assumes Arsenal are even in for him lots of players get linked to big clubs before going somewhere else. Wasn't Bony linked with the big clubs before he joined Swansea.

For those that know Clapham Grand on BBS he thinks there could be some mileage in this one. Certainly exciting times to be a Palace fan even being linked with players like this.
Goodness is what you do. Not who you pray to. |

I would think that AP would involve Cabaye in the initial talks with this guy. That would provide the viewpoint from a senior French player and a member of the national French sqaud who made the move to Palace already. Using the language/culture would go a long way to giving the guy confidence of the potential move.

Unlikely sadly "He is linked with a move to Arsenal or Chelsea but he will cost up to £35M for any club that wants to buy the young striker, Marseille president Vincent Labrune has confirmed to media in the player's homeland of Belgium. Speaking to DH.be, Labrune declared, "There is not a single top 15 world club that is not interested in Batshuayi." The president added, "He is one of the most wanted players on the market. There were a lot of offers for him this summer, but he did not want to leave." The 22-year-old, who has also been linked with a move to Tottenham in the past, joined Marseille from Standard Liege at the start of the last season and has enjoyed an incredible start to the 2015/16 campaign. Batshuayi certainly won't come cheap, though. Marseille paid just €6M for him a little over a year ago but Labrune is fully aware he has a rising star on his hands and will demand a huge offer. "He is proving himself on the pitch. And if clubs want him then they are going to have to pay up - around €50M," he said."
Dont let Cabaye go |
