And on that man citeh affair, he reacted the way he did as he wanted to take one of their team with him...and fair f***s, I wouldav done the same, pretty much all of us would have given the circumstances and what was at stake..lat least he cared more about the team than himself in that situation...I like players who will take one for the team.

i would have him in heartbeat...then sell ledders to pulis for 4-5m would make sound buisness sense as i assume ledders will be the one making way for cabaye on a weekly basis. bartons a decent player with something to give. Barton obviously has some previous that is problematic. That said, he's a very good player and also extremely insightful and, dare I say it, perceptive and natively intelligent. He's a refreshing change from most modern footballers. I'm not sure I want him at Palace but I do like him and want him to succeed. The good bits of him are very, very good. But the bad bits are awful.

this man is utter scum, plus we have some of our best players in the centre of the park, with not just quality but quantity, Ledley can't even make the bench at the moment so how would Barton possible fit in... ever
